How to Reset Denso WINCAPS III Programmer Password

  1. Close WINCAPS
  2. Open regedit.exe
  3. Navigate to \HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\DENSO WAVE\Wincaps3\Settings
  4. Delete Password1 “VALUE” not the whole “KEY”
  5. Open WINCAPS and set your new programmer password
